My Story
Over eleven years ago, On December 13, 2010, I took a leap of faith and join this little company called Scentsy. For many years I just dabbled and was a hobbyist. Fast forward to our annual convention, which we call family reunion, in Nashville 2015. It was there that I decided I could get more out of this business if I really wanted to. That year the trip to earn was to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic . I came home, worked my business, and earned level two of that incentive trip, which paid for my lodging and my meals for five days. As you know I was so excited when I earned that trip.
Fast forward to July 2017. Family reunion was being held in St. Louis, Missouri. They announce that the trip to earn is a seven day Mediterranean cruise going to Spain, France and Italy. I came home and I had a plan ( just ask Jason Harwood and Jeff Dastrup. I told them and their wives my plan in an airport in the middle of the night heading to Punta Cana). Little did I know that my plan would not go as I had planned! You see, my plan was to gradually move up in the company. And then out of nowhere (don’t kid yourself, I know where), I had one of the highest personal sales months ever in seven years with Scentsy and I hit Director!
All of a sudden earning an all expense trip paid for two was in reach. I just assumed I would only hit level III which is an all expense trip paid for one. (Plus it was part of the plan, hitting level III was one step above level II which I hit last year).
I attribute my success due to mapping out a plan on the way home from family reunion with my director Christie Przysucha, plus lots of hard work and dedication by myself and my teammates made this possible. I cannot thank them enough for their support and encouragement over the years.
So there I went, seven years later getting ready to go on a vacation of a lifetime, that I didn't have to pay for, with the love of my life. Never in 1 million years would I have imagined that this is something I could’ve accomplished or even dreamed of accomplishing. I always told myself I had no desire to go to Europe, however, when it’s all expenses paid, I was so very excited! Who knew what I could’ve been missing out on had I not of even tried.
Who would’ve known that joining a little candle company all those years ago would’ve changed my life so much. Thank you Heidi Braucht Thompson and Orville Thompson for making me believe in myself! Also, for all the tools and trainings that you provide to us on a daily basis. It makes such an impact on how successful we are. Please know it doesn’t go unnoticed. I am eternally grateful for all of my customers, all of my friends and family and everyone who is ever supported me in this business. “She Believed She Could So She Did”
